Edit: Just purchased my first Busse. Anxiously anticipating its arrival. Pic on page 2.
---------------
Noob here. Directed this way by my A+ amigo I'mGatman.
While I've always appreciated a fine blade, and owned a few reasonably nice cutting utensils, my primary love-interest is bullet-launchers. Well, when I'mGatman dropped by the house the other day and showed me his new BATAC, I was awestruck. The lines, heft, craftsmanship, and overall aesthetics captivated me. I'd never handled such a beautiful yet utilitarian blade. I've been able to think of little else since.
Obviously I have a lot of research and learning to do, but I sense a Busse (probably a SH...gotta decide which variation...something not too "pretty," because I'm going to get it dirty) on my horizon in the very near future.
Excellent website, and I look forward to my education here, and interaction with all of you folks (I'mGatman already told me what a fine group this is).
By the way, my contribution to the field of fighting tools is custom grip work (i.e. reductions, ergonomic shaping, non-slip texturing) on polymer-framed handguns, such as Glock, Springfield Armory XD, H&K, Kahr, etc. I am an FFL (via partnership with a local gun shop as one of their in-house custom 'smiths).
