hello all!

Welcome aboard, with your skills I see future postings containing many modded handles then with time the blades. Looks like Ban, Soup and Grinducci may have some future comp. Only time will tell I suppose.

P.S. I loved your show as a kid and am surprised by you skills considering the size of your paws. Guess your not the average bear eh, lol.

Hahahaha...:D

Actually, I was kinda thinking the same thing. Maybe I should try to talk Ben into getting a grinding wheel, and then instead of spending time in his garage shooting boxes of phone books with silenced pistols, we can actually spend our time throwing sparks and making cool stuff!

I'm definitely feeling right at home. Thanks for the welcome, and compliments of my work. I had no intention of turning it into a business. It was kind of like prostitution: first I did it for fun, then for a few friends, then for money.

LOL...I liked the Gentle Ben show too. However, I got the nickname from my buddies when I was in the service. Something to do with me being 6'2" and 205 lbs, furry like a bear, with a tendency to get bounced out of bars and picked up by the SP's for being a bit too "rowdy."

But that was in my wild younger years; I'm quite tame and domesticated now, as Jason can attest.

That'd be fun. But first we need to build you a nice SBR. :D

Welcome, always good to have new people! Just be sure to stay away from the old Steel Hearts! :D

What he said, only exchange Battle Mistresses for Steel Hearts!

Welcome.

Gotta work on that NFA trust, and then we can go from there. I do have those 2 lowers coming, though. Man...these hobbies are exPENSIVE!!!

Welcome to the insanity!

Lets just hope you don't end up cursing Jason for bringing you here. :D

I came just looking for a good camp knife, and now I have... errrr....
well... let's just say A LOT! :D

Great blades, good people... errrr hogs... and good fun!

Oh... and you need to get a mistress... they are THE BEST!

That's a great thread, Resin. I really like the BM. I'll probably get my first Busse soon, and I can't decide if I want a SH2, SHE, or BME. Right now the BME seems to be what'd suit my uses best.

GB---How come you haven't posted a pic of a Busse knife yet?? You'll like it here! All Aboard!

I don't have a Busse yet. Right now I'm trying to decide which one should be my first, and also figure out how I'm going to pay for it. ;)

Just pounced on this beauty in the exchange. This'll be perfect for hunting, camping, and general utility.

Nice score!! With Snake Skin handles all but completely gone from production, that one will go up in value. Even with hard use!!

Thanks Jeep. I plan to use this one. Nice that they hold their value even if they're used...like a transferrable machinegun.

If that were my grave knife (and I wish it were), I'd already have so many scratches on it you couldn't buy enough Flitz to get them off. :p

Ben, the SH-E is a fine, all-around blade, and snakeskin is a personal favorite. Hang onto that one. As for a quick and outstanding sheath selection, check into the Spec-Ops LONG (up to 8" blade). My SH-E rides perfectly in one. You might look around for someone with old stock though. Spec-Ops just stopped making the kydex sleeves appear above the nylon because it is IR reflective. However, I found that the longer sleeve makes for a slightly better fit because you can cut a groove for the talon hole and seat the handle against the liner a little better.
