Check out the 5.11 brand light called "light for life." It fully charges in 90 seconds and has over 200 lumen output. It has lower power modes built in to extend the run time. Check it out.

Great catch - congrats.
It looks like this is more expensive than flashlights, but you can use a knife in bright daylight too....
So you get more for your money.
