Hi all, I'm a knife nut and love my esee's, busse's, and busse kin knives. But as I was thinking I have never had a Becker. O I want o remedy that.:D
Besides it like you folks have lot of fun here anD at the get togethers.
So my question is what should I get? I love bush stye blades and choppers. Im debating between the 2 and the new Ritter collaboration. Heck the 7 and 9 look good too!

So help me decide what to get!

Thanks and have a great holiday.:)

well the 2 is a good starting point, the 9 is a beast, and the rsk mk2 or bk12 is supposed to be the nicest there is. In my opinion id say the bk10. its an LE only about 160 made. i believe kabar still has a few left. $150 with all the bells and whistles. Its my favorite. but the rest are good too :D

I love my BK7...... Never leave home without it.... Big but nimble... Handles like a much smaller knife.....

I started with a bk11, cheap enough that I wouldn't cry if I hated it, I loved it. That paved the way to the bigger ones, currently the bk7 is my fave knife overall.
Still don't leave home without my 11, it is to me what the peanut is for Jackknife in the traditionals forum.

oh river tamer has opened the pics can o worms...bk10 is my favorite, the bk7 is a great all around choice just like the bk2 but some find it heavy, another favorite is the bk5 which is a becker sleeper. its won an award and it looks like a kitchen knife but bushcrafts and chops just as well as the rest. Pics incoming booyah! btw ive been sucking on the jameson teet all evening so yea...

Well I'm gonna say the 2 just because it was my first purchase. I think it serves all needs and leaves you open to small upgrades and customizations if you want. I striped and convexed mine added micarta scales and purchased a survival sheath. It's a great knife and with the thickness of the blade I've never worried aboit banging it up in the outdoors.

First of all, don't be afraid to jump in.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with any of them. The BK2 was my first one and still amazes me at how useful it is in any situation.

You should, however, be aware there is only one King...:D

Welcome aboard.

I'm going to echo the other guys on this one. I have a 2, 14, and a 9. The 14 gets the most use because I edc it but there is something truly magical about the 2. To me it's a great representation of the becker like as a whole.
Oh and my bk2

I'm gonna have to say get the 9. I started with a 2, which I love, but I love the BK9 even more. It is now my favorite overall knife.

clich by your liquor choice I can see you are a real man. Nice work with the Jameson, its the best out there.

I love it, but the whiskey doesnt put hair on my chest like my dads buddies told me when i was a kid. Otherwise id have a shag carpet i could carve "the guyon" in. but i digress to my peach fuzz

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Is the King the model 10?

Great pics guys I need to read all the old threads to get up to speed, ie camilius, kabar blackjack versions etc.
Thanks again.
