Hello Beckerheads and what should my first Becker be?

Long live the king:

Awesome pic!:)

Try to fill a hole in your battery. The only thing Becker doesn't have yet is a 4" to 4.5" bladed knife and even that is coming soon.

Save time and the hassle. Jump right in and get a 2, 9, and a 11. You'll end up with them eventually so skip the foreplay!:D

It's a proven fact that Beckers don't like Apple devices, a 14 pushed an iphone off a table to it's death a few months ago.
China shops are not very friendly to bk9 purchases either. That one's actually on here.

Ok well i have decided thanks to all of you, I am going to get the BK 2, no i typed too fast i meant the BK 7, wait thats not right, the BK 9 or was it the 10?

I guess I have to do it the old fashion way,,,,,,

Doesn't matter, you'll have them all one day.... :D

I just bought a BK14 as a Christmas Gift and Bought one for myself as well to see if I liked it, I did aside from the sheath(getting some made now). Think I'll go a 7 next then a 2.

I started with the 11, then got a 2, and ordered a 10. 9 and 5 are on the list, along with camp tweener and maybe the machax, although I don't like the way it looks. Also probably whatever the super duper secret knife is that's coming out next year.

I don't use my 2 much; it's a bit heavy for my tastes, but it's nice to know I have it. I bought the 2 because of this thread:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ting-the-BK2-to-the-test-so-you-don-t-have-to...

I'd go with a 2 and a 14 or 11 to start out. The neckers are super useful; I carry a small EDC fixed blade nearly every day, and use em a LOT. I occasionally betray my 11 by using a knife that I made, or a BRKT, but it sees a lot of use. The 2 is also nice and cheap. You can get a 2 and a 14 or 11 for the same price that you can get most of the others, and you'll get a good idea of what a Becker is like from the 2.

Any Becker is a good Becker. Which ever Becker you get will be your first Becker but it will not be your last Becker. So don't worry get any Becker, the rest will soon follow.

I started out with a BK2, thinking it would be the perfect camp knife. It is certainly a great knife, and a great camp knife.

However, I think it gave me the big knife bug, so recently I have been more interested in larger blades (BK9 for instance). Now that I have one, my sights are now set on the tweeners.

Basically, get whatever you want, they're all good :).

If I were to do it again... I might go with the BK7 first though, 7in really does feel like a great length in the woods. 9in seems a bit large, while the BK2 seemed a bit short sometimes.

Thank you all I just found out I'm getting a bk2 for Xmas! I will post pics when I get it.
