Lying immediately about deleting your old account was a bad, but based on history, not shocking start.
You can't delete an account.

No he didn't. I just mentioned him in my OP saying he was my friend in real life, implying he's close in age to me. As far as I know his only account has been Ben G. But you said he was banned? Or am I misunderstanding you?

Why did you feel you had to lie about your age? I've never lied about my age on here (I don't overtly discuss my age but when the subject arises, I don't hide anything) and things have been just fine. The people on these forums are generally very kind and understanding and more than willing to enlighten young knife enthusiasts.
I mentioned above I believed everyone was already under the impression I was over 40. I thought it would be confusing for everyone if they thought I was 14, then 40, and didn't believe or understand. It was bad and stupid, I know, but I wanted to avoid a conflict with that... As you and I can plainly see, avoiding conflict didn't work out too well.

It's the rationalization of what you did, the explaining over and over again like it changes anything.
Want a fresh start? Walk away from this thread, read more post less and put the history behind you. If you're genuine and honestly want to enjoy the forum for what it is you can lurk for a long time and if your good with Google or the bf search function you'll find all the answers you need.
If you can't find your answer, figure out an intelligent way to ask your question, don't bring up your history and if someone asks you about it don't deny it, if you feel the need to explain yourself, do it in a pm.
This is the best advice I can give you. Take it for what it's worth, I'm not 14 and I've been here a long time, I'm suggesting the best path to follow if you want to integrate into the community and who knows, eventually become a contributing member.
