Hello everyone, good to meet yah! My name is Sam Salvati, i do blacksmithing and welding full time, and a bit of knives and swords here and there too. Been forging for about 7 years, knives for about 2 or 3. I am from NY State, not the city:D. Hope to learn and teach here, this place looks GREAT! I get by pretty good with my angle grinder, or the weekly foray to my teacher's shop and am able to use his big and little Baders. But mostly do forge finish knives and swords and stuff.

Hey Sam! It was only a matter of time before you showed up here... between here and Don's forum is how I seem to get my 'fix'...

You guys, Sam has some pretty amazing skills, and he's not afraid to strike a pose of terror and glamor, either!;):D

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I am still learning to use the forum and stuff, but hopefully i'll be able to get some pictures up soon. This looks like a really :cool: place. I could've swore I mentioned that Joe? We should get together sometime and forge some stuff!
