I'm a Kershawholic. (You Guys now say "Hi Brad"). I had a business trip into far southwestern VA yesterday, and I made the costly mistake of going about 5 miles out of my way to stop by New Graham Knives. http://www.newgraham.com. I got to meet and talk with Mike, the Pharmacist, and Annie, the great gal that answers my calls and email about Kershaw knives, and while I thought I had my Kershaw addiction under control by getting my latest "fix" by ordering another ENER-G from them Wednesday, I was wrong. Very wrong. This place is a knife junkie's dream - knives everywhere!
Sensing that I had a Kershaw problem, Annie went the extra mile and was extremely nice and very patient with me. I spent a few hours handling every Kershaw in their case, and wound up leaving with another mini Cyclone, a mini Mojo, and a Groove. The mini Cyclone is a tested by me reliable workhorse, so I had to have another one. The Mini Mojo jumped from the case and wouldn't leave my hand. This is an awesome little folder with a beautiful re-curve. And the Groove...what can I say about this one but damn, it's beautiful! And the flipper on this one is just as quick as any SpeedSafe's I own.
So, if any of you guys are ever anywhere near Bluefield, VA, you've got to stop by...unless you're planning on going cold turkey. I left there with a warm, fuzzy feeling as I clutched my little brown bag. When I got home, my new ENER-G was waiting for me...I could hear it calling me from the front porch when I pulled in the driveway. I took all of them out of their little boxes, lined them up, rearranged them a few times, gently opened them and inspected each one. I reversed all the clips, and played with each one with glee!
My dear Sandy just looked at me and sighed...she knew I was in heaven, but on the other hand she realizes I have a problem.
When I woke up this morning, I thought it had been a dream, but I walked down into the den and there they were, just as I had left them last night. That warm, fuzzy feeling started again.
I'll admit it...I'm a Kershawholic...
