Hello from Austria - Some pics of my Work

Very nice work Ulrik! I REALLY like your razors...I think the "Art Razor" with the Sanmai blade is probably my favorite, but they all look top notch to me!

You are truly a gifted maker. Thanks for sharing the photos of your awesome knives.

Keep your work up. I love it all! Your razors are awesome. The hammering on the brass, love it! Keep that work up.

Always nice to see the talent and skill levels out there. These look to be top notch. Great job, Ulrik.

Very nice work mate. Looking forward to seeing more of your work here.
Cheers Keith

Very nice work Ulrik. Many years ago I was fortunate enough to visit Innsbruck and Salzburg. The one thing that really got my attention was the craftsmanship you see everywhere you go. Even in the Salt Mines, it was amazing to see how much time and effort was put into getting everything "Just Right".

Glad to see you are continuing the heritage. Please show us more as you can.

Robert

Hello,

thank you everybody for your replys.

Here are some more razors i made:

1.jpg This one is made out of selfcasted steel: 1,35%C 1%Mn 1%Cr 0,8%W 0,25%Ta 0,1%V. The grind is wedge. The handle is made of synthetic ivory. When the foto was taken the front pin wasnt finished so dont wonder about the wooden one.

23.jpg This is a blade i made for a customer. Steel is 1.2510 with half hollow grind and mirror polish.

s3.jpg This is a replica of the ottoman egyptain and royal windsor razor, a very rare razor. The blade is made of selfcasted steel 1,5%C o,2%Ta. The handle is grenadill. The box is made of ebony and silver with a deer leather inlay.

2.jpg A classic kamisori made of two layer steel with asymetric grinding.

best regards
Ulrik

Ulrik,
Your work is outstanding, and I'm very impressed that you are making your own steel. It is something I have always wanted to try.
Adam.

Lovely, lovely work.........................

We might need a tutorial on the steel you make.
