I just wanted to say hello from San Antonio, Tx and thank everybody for your contributions and wealth of great info at this wonderful website. My name is Anthony and I started making knives about 8 months ago after I bought a multi-part knife making course that including knife making via the stock removal method and a course on forging a knife from a rr spike and few other goodies. I've loved it ever since and this site has been a tremendous resource! Just like with anything I decide that I like, I've jumped all in.
There are a couple of makers here in San Antonio who frequently post to this site and whose work I really admire! Hoping to get in touch with them, maybe even get a shop tour.
Before I jumped into making knives I already had a workshop in my garage for making custom speaker boxes, which I did professionally for a few years. I've since mostly converted it to a knife making/smithing shop and I wanted to post a few pics, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet. After I re-read and get it figured out I'll post some pics.
