Hello! Got my first Becker (BK7) Now with better pics!

I was tempted to give mosaic pins a shot, but figured I'd get regular pins down first, and it may have been to much

Corbys are nice , but I would have had to buy a different step drill bit and if your handle is to thick you can't use them

The Burl really sets the knife off like they were meant for each other and that Burl is some of the best I have seen. Very good job ~~ now jump on a BK2 and see what you can do.! I can't wait.*

Wow!! I'm impressed! Are you at all interested in making more to sell?! I'd be interested at some point. They look great! Nice work.

Thanks man. Not right now, I've only done two and still feel I have a lot to learn, maybe at some point in the future, but who knows. I'm worried about losing the fun and enjoyment I get from doing it

Yeah, I can completely understand that. I'm thinking about a BK7 for my next purchase. I am an ESEE user, but I think that Becker's are great products. The one thing is I like how ESEE's come from the factory better, but Becker's have some people doing great looking modifications like you! I'll let you know if I end up buying one, then maybe sometime in the future we can work something out. Again, really nice work!

Beautiful!
What material are you thinking about for round 2?

I was really tempted to go with a desert iron wood or maple burl, but I ended up wanting a matching threesome ( big, medium and small) in redwood burl, so what's what my bk14 will be wearing

That is beautiful work! My first BK was the BK2 Companion, then I recently picked up the BK9 and the BK5. Hoping to add the remaining 2 in a few weeks. Wish I would have had these back in the dark ages during Desert Storm.

great handles. those would look esp good on a BK77 imho :)
