Hello

Welcome Deer Runner, If you ever even owned a knife before, You have come to the right place. But be warned, over the course of the next few months, You will find yourself coming here more and more and next thing you know, You will consider spending $200 on a knife a "Great Deal" and it only gets worse from there:D

Um... Well.... I own knives, lots of knives...
Wife constantly complaines she's tripping over them.
My side of the couch has most of the knives underneath the couch to keep her from tripping over them.
Now I'm making them by hand forging them. :lol

Welcome, you are definitely in the right place and definitely among friends. The first step is to proclaim, "Hi, I am a knifeaholic"! :)

Glad to have you along for the ride Deer Runner! Welcome.

Welcome to the Forums!:) Hang around and have fun. There's alot to learn and some good humor along the way.

Welcome. Say, I'm looking to start napping flint as a hobby; I saw a guy do it at The Crazy Horse memorial and I've been fascinated by it ever since.

How does a guy get started in that hobby?

Welcome aboard
If your forging your own blades, you should check out the shopt talk forum. Its under general discussion, just below this forum. Theres a ton of great info their, and great people. Hopefully you can share some ideas too.

Welcome, Deer Runner.

I'm pretty new to BladeForums myself, but everyone here has been great. I've even managed to recently meet some Forumites in person, and they're even nicer face-to-face.

Great group here. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome, Deer runner. You will really enjoy the folks here. If you happen to see forum members' pictures on wanted posters in the post office, they only bear a small resemblence to the innocent parties.

Always good to see new members with an obvious love for knives. Welcome, Joe.

So you make knives? Any that you would like to show us?

Hey, i think I know this guy! I think i spent 8 days or so in the wilds of Idaho starving with him! Is that you Joe?

Joe is a good guy, and good woodsman.

Rob
