Hello

Anteater !!

Try "The Magician" by Raymond E. Feist - fantastic read, I couldn't put it down !!

Do you know what Aardvark literally translates to buddy ??

;)

Feth, welcome to the cantina. If you want to expand your knowledge base then listen up to the "patrons" and especially the "patron." They will shoot straight with you and let you know when opinion is opinion, fact is fact. In fact, checking in with the people on this forum has become such a daily habit that I am trying to get a deal on a laptop from a buddy of mine so I can stay in touch while I recover from joint replacment surgery in a couple of months.

Uncle Bill is one man you can do business with and not worry about whether you'll be treated honestly. I wish there were more people like him out there in the business world.

Welcome to the cantina. I guess you know about HIKV

With statements like this:
I do believe that one will not be enough so it shouldn't be that big of a deal to decide where to start.

You will fit right in.

Ben;
What surgery are you having?
My father just had knee replacemnet surgery, it went well and he's recovering nicely. My mother thinks the oly reasons he carries a cane still is to help with his balance and to carry around some of his collection.

Red, I'm going to have my left hip replaced. I wish I could show you all the booklet they gave me to read. Really a hoot. I have talked with a lot of people who have had both knee and hip replacement and they all agree that the knee is worse. Guess that's something positive. Of course, now my knee is starting to hurt.:) What kind of collection is your father carrying around that he would need a cane?

I deserved that.

I meant a cane collection, now I get to add to it.

10 years ago I worked in a nursing home and the 80+ year olds recovered quickly.

Dad just had hip replacement over Christmas, and you wouldn't even know now(could barely walk before that). Actually, can't tell his hip was bad, now his knee is going(both injuries were case of motorcycle accident years ago, him being overweight his whole life, and years of doing things like coaching track).

I jsut say it's cuz he's old, but as he's only 48, certain people here in Cantina might disagree with that statement. :)

:D Good one, Red. I never even thought about a cane collection. If I could only figure out how getting new khuks would make me better, and be able to convince my wife...hmmmm. Well, new khuks make me feel better, just not walk better; severe list to port.

EPT...48 is not old. You'll believe me when you get there.:D

Osiyo Feth!!!! Welcome to the Cantina, sometimes also referred to as the Psycho Ward!!!!:D
