Hey, I have been away from this forum as an active poster for quite some time. But, I am back now. and I figured I should give a brief intro of myself.

I have been full time for five years now, and still trying to figure out how to make a living at it. :o I make stock removal knives, and particularily like Integrals. I have a back ground in machining and use alot of it in my knifemaking.
I hope to learn from you guys and share what little I know.

I like your designs and they do definately show the machinist in you.

If you are looking for a venue to sell some of your work , you are in the right place too.

This site gets a bunch of traffic and the owner now offers maker specific forums at a pretty reasonable cost considering what you get.

Please feel free to show some of your work. Some of the guys here may not be familiar with your stuff.

I love your work. I always look through Blade to see if you have any new pieces in the magazine.
 
Thanks for the welcome guys. Mark, I don't know about another maker forum for us, my woman might just kill me. Thats her job. cook, clean,look purty, and keep up on the forums.
I think that I might need to build up my presence here frist, theres a whole bunch of really good makers here already,good crowd to hang with.

Raymond, I intend to. Just waiting on the club for the right time.

Tanya's got some pics up of some past knives and a couple current ones in the Custom forum.
Quick question:Its a little confusing remembering to log in under my own account, Tanya just upgraded our tntbegg user acct.a couple days ago and got knifemaker status, then I came in and decide to set up my own acct. under my name. now she's a little miffed at me, she thinks people will get confused by her posting under the tntbegg with knifemaker title and then me just as basic member under my own name. can anything be done to switch that around? or do i need to just pay for another upgrade under my account?

Doesnt seem like you would need two paying accounts. Only reason to pay is to sell in the "for sale by maker" section or just to contribute to the forums. Just make sure that you use Tanya's login to sell something.

p.s I guess great minds must think alike. The knife Tanya posted in the custom section is similar construction to one I made in '04, I called mine a U-tang :D.

Nothing as nice as your work by any means.

todd begg.....who the heck is that????......ohh that's that guy who is on the cover of blade and makes wicked integrals and crazy folders that rock!......welcome todd and mrs. todd......i am enjoying the step by step you posted in the custom forum and can't wait to see more.....i don't have much knowledge about folders and the kind of technologies you use and am eager to watch and learn from your posts.........ryan
