Hellrazor? HELL-YEAH!

Thanks guys, and thanks for the info John. I'm surprised these sat around for so long at the store. At first glance, I wasn't overwhelmed with them. I bought one basicaly because of the reviews of everybody that has one. Wish I had done it sooner.

I would love to see pics of a paper micarta handled one.

As it was originally offered from BCK, the standard handles were:

Black Canvas Micarta
Tan Canvas Micarta
Black Paper Micarta

Optional handles were:

Black G10 +$25
Snakeskin (standard width) +$45
Magnum Black Canvas Micarta +$35
Magnum Tan Canvas Micarta +$35

And the base price was $287.

And they sat around in the Company Store for a long, long time.

Then it's Black Canvas that I have then!! Thanks John!

My first Busse. Great knife. (I now have 11 Busses w/ 4 more on the way. One in the mail, a B7. 3 various ASH-1s to be shipped in "Two weeks". Slippery slope, indeed!) 27 May 2006. A black/black standard canvas Hell Razor. $ 287 + shipping. If I knew then what I know now, I'd either have purchased as many as I could have (barely) afforded or not gotten involved at all. Ah, well, I'm in it now. As the folks around here are fond of saying, "NO REGRETS". PIGmsayre (Pete)

Mags are ok but I prefer the asymetrical Mud Razor handles, they really like my hand into place!

Congrats!
I LOVE my HR! Great do it all knife! And not too heavy - I comfortably hike with it. Generally with small hands like I have the standard handles are ok. but if you want the slabs to be thicker put some paracord through all the holes in the handle, starting with the hole nearest to the blade and at the end do a nice loop. It helps while chopping with HR.

Great score!

The more I see them the more I think I should have ordered one when Jerry had them up on the site, but at the time I had my self convinced I had enough fighting styled blades.:o
I should know their is never enough.;)

What do the asymetrical handles look like Bravadoink? I've never really looked at the Mud Razor handles. As far as the standards go, I have no complaints with this knife. It's really very comfortable.

I find the Magnum handle to be much more comfortable than the asymmetrical Mud Razor handle. But, of course, that's just me.

Wow, thanks guys! Now it looks like I got 2 more knives I need to find. :D

Those mags look huge compared to the Mud Razor.

I don't like the Mags b/c of hte pronounced bulbousness nature. But if you were to make the regular scales a bit thickerer, then we'd be talkin!

I dumped out my mag HR and picked up a Mudder. I like the Mudder. Feels nice. Still wish the handles were a squidge thicker. Some day I might send them out to get fatter scales. Maybe.

Nice score, MD13!:thumbup: I used to really not like them, but they are growing on me, and quickly at that!... Guess I'll need to try and snag one someday... :D

Hell Yeah! The HRs were one of the most if not the most under rated Busses! Damn....by me too!

Congrats bro!

Congrats bro!

Yeah, I watched them sit at the Co Store for a VERY long time. At the time i thought, "I can't spend $287 on a knife!" LOL

Congrats Dan! That one is every bit as good as an SFNO in my book (don't stone me you SFNO groupies )

Skunk & Jerry,

We, the repentent, will NEVER let this happen again. Bring back the Hell Razor, please! Bill
