I would keep my sjtac, because of the balance to me it feels faster and overall nice. I have never been a big fan of the razor tough mine left pretty quick. Of corse this is just my opinion. And for me a sjtac is just sexy that hell razor looks like "Hell" (said realizing the grief that could come from it)
I'm just the opposite. I kept my Hell Razor because it fits my hand better and has a better heft and feel for me. It will do some amazingly precise things as well as beat through kindling and wood for the fire. It is undoubtedly my favorite knife in this size range, and only my BM-E outperforms it in the field for my needs. Just my opinion as well---I think you got to go with what you like and what works for you.
Hell Razor gets my vote for the better all-arounder... But that's based upon more time in the woods than anywhere else --- it's a better chopper, but can do the detailed work just as well as the SJ in my opinion.
For me it's the HR. Aptly named and a pleasure to use. Kinda used to the heft of a BM so anything lighter than a HR feels a little light if not flimsy.
Just me though, brute strength and ignorance over technique and patience every time.
I love my HR with mags, just can't get a good comfortable grip with the SJ-handle. Both are great slicers, but the HR/mags give me better grip for thrusting or chopping.
The SJ is a good replacement for my kabar (Marine-shudder), but the Hell Razor has replaced both for heavy-duty medium size work.
