Welcome to the Busse forum at BladeForums! The first 300 SHBM's had the swedge, and if I remember correctly were hardened a little more than later ones. The earlier SHBM's had the screws in the handle, and later ones had the tube fasteners. Any of the SHBM's have a fairly high collector's value, even if they have been used. If you like it, keep it and use it - it is one of my favorites! So are the 1/300 more desirable? Were there only 300 made like this or is that the model of the BM?
1/6 SHBM has the narrower swedge.
