Help a Newb ID these Buck knives please

The 119 is a 119Br Special, Cocobola Cat # 1672. The 639 is a Cat # 8195, Model # 639-B1. FYI.

So these 639s were introduced in 1990, not earlier? And, the "Buck Custom USA" tang stamps were serialized from the Custom Shop, in addition to "Buck 639 USA" tang stamps not being serialized at the same point in time? I'm just trying to better my history on these knives, as I have another one numbered 218. Did the non-Custom Shop knives have black phenolic handles as well?

Thanks Richard . I read and reread that posting and understood he said it was stamped (the brass guard knife) Buck USA . DM

The Buck 119 -BR-0 that I have is a 2007 model and the blade is stamped 119 with the down arrow. I paid $55 and $7 for shipping.
