I have spend the last 2 days messing around chemicals and methods of acid etching trying to replicate results that Dylan Farnham gets with no success.

Does anybody have experience with these sorts of patinas that could set me on the right track before i blow money on different chemical solutions.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If i was to personally try to replicate these kinds of finishes... i would guess it would be a combination of vinegar soaking and mustard to establish the patterns.

More or less im just trying to gt similar patinas not copy him the tee. I will give mustard and vinegar a try today.

i have found you can get lots of cool results by testing out different old/unused condiments in the fridge:) good place to start anyway.
