Hello BF members, I need your help in clearing the air for the negative feedback I received from a seller last week.
Ultimately, because I asked a question, I am nearly certain I am at fault here. I guess the question is, does this issue DESERVE negative feedback?
There's no "smoking gun" or dead bodies - it's pretty straight forward. Most of the details are available to anyone and can be researched if necessary.
So I buy a knife. I pay up immediately. I don't hear from the seller.
I PM the seller the next day. I write; "confirmation? Thanks."
Seller responds; "Sorry about the delay and I should of let you know, I won't be able to ship until tomorrow. I will let you know the tracking as soon as I have it. Thanks for you patience"
I respond; "Hey there is a 2nd buyer on this one do you mind selling to him?"
Seller responds; "I will happy to do so if that is what you would like. My deepest apologies on the wait. I hope you will continue to look at my knives for sale in the future. Thank You and God Bless,"
I don't respond to the seller but I do drop a note to the 2nds buyer on his "visitor message" explaining the knife is available and to contact the seller. "Hey Mike, If the seller is agreeable you are welcome to the #66 periglass $80...contact him as I already have. Rdave" His visitor messages can be checked of course.
Seller sends me another PM saying the paypal refund was processed; "I just issued the refund and it said it will take 3-5 business days. Thanks,"
I don't respond.
The next day I get negative feedback. As follows;
"Negative, Bought the knife, paid, and then demanded a refund with no explanation
+ Reply
No explanation as to why the refund was wanted. Wish he would of just not wanted it to begin with."
I respond asking why you bless me and then bestow negative feedback on me.
So....There you have it. Please let me know what you think on this issue.
Thanks for your help in this matter.
