I'm looking to buy a new fixed blade with the blade being around 4 to 5 inches. I need something that is gonna be durable something I can put through hell with no problem. I'll be using the blade for multiple purposes such as when camping or maybe even hunting sometimes. I also need the knife to be at least somewhat corrosion resistant as I live on a bay and will be using it around the water. I was looking at the esee4 and kabar 16 but am not sure if they are good options or if there is a better option. My price range is around 100 bucks. And suggestions is appreciated

Since corrosion resistance is high on your criteria list, the Mora Garberg would be a good candidate. It's stainless, full tang, lightweight for such a knife and currently priced about $60.

I think Austin Goldman makes a lot of good user knives with AEBL, he has some in longer lengths but most are from 3.5 to 4 inch range. There are a lot of good makers here on the forum and they post in the exchange.

Buck Mesa is a Walmart exclusive. About 5" blade. Classic utility camp knife profile. Hollow grind leans more towards hunting use than rough battoning but it's full tang and should hold up ok provided you use your head. Made from Bucks good 420HC stainless.

Just under $50.
