Hi guys, I need help on choosing my next knife. Well, not really help but I would just like your opinions of a few knives I have in mind. I own a CRKT tanto style folding knife. 4" blade that's in pretty horrible shape. I own an ESEE 3 MIL. I own 6" skinning knife my grandpa gave me, a few pocket knives, and a SOCP dagger which is really neat!

At first I was thinking of getting a Microtech Makora II but I have decided to scratch all OTF knives off of my list. So I am deciding on either a Benchmade Adamas, a Benchmade Contego 810BK, a Coldsteel Ti Lite 6" Limited, or maybe an ESEE 4".

Thanks for your suggestions, and opinions on these knives!

CS Ti-lite 6" CTS-XHP. I've always wanted one.

Welp, I think I've narrowed it down to either the Contego 810bk, and the Zero Tolerance 0562CF. They both seem very good.

I have the Adamas folder, which is a great knife (with a great sheath) if you have need of the features it offers. It's not a pocket knife by most measures. If you wanted to go with a Benchmade and D2 steel but perhaps a bit more carry-friendly, the H&K 14715 Axis (made by Benchmade) is an excellent design. I just bought one here on the exchange a couple weeks back and keep asking myself why I waited so long.

I'm a ZT fan and have several, but if I had to narrow it down, it'd be a 0801. That was my first ZT folder after already owning a 0160 fixed blade, and really opened my eyes to what spending a little more money could get me.

Thanks, the design on the 0801 looks real nice too. I really like the "slicer grind on the 0562, but i also like the 810bk, but since ive had a tanto style folder for so long and never a drop point style folder im leaning more that way. I've never really payed much attention to Zero Tolerance knives but i am becoming more and more interested in them. I know Benchmade is top notch though.

I love my 810. Just got an Adamas for a second time. I wish the handles weren't so thick (I'm going to round them off a bit) and I wish the blade were longer. If it were my money I would go with the 810.
