I have over 25 diffrent strider knifes and unless my mind changes crk will be getting a whole lot more of my business

If your emails to Strider were anything like this post, no wonder they ignored you...

Or did they respond and you sent it in and they haven't returned it...

At any rate, just email them more. Worst case scenario have a lawyer draft a letter stating that if they do not return your merchandise you'll sue their asses and/or have them prosecuted for theft and mail fraud.

Does not sound like strider, they get em out in 3 weeks or less, did you send a letter stating your issues and $15 bucks to get it shipped back.

It's $25 now. I was going to send in my older SNG for a little R & R, decided against due to that. Was a little surprised it was that high.

That's what I was led to believe in the email. I would have to pay $5.80 flat rate to get it there, and include a note describing the issue I was having as well as $25 for shipping and handling/processing. The knife functions fine, just a little side-to-side and lock bar creeping over a bit, so couldn't justify $30 to have them fix a few minor issues...for free. Nice knife, though.

$5.80? Is that USPS?

They don't like USPS. You have to ship via UPS, or Fedex. Approximate cost for UPS package, insured for roughly $400, was around $15 last time I did it.

That brings the cost for a refurb up to $40, per trip.

I have only sent one knife into strider before and I had it back in 3 weeks flat!!!!! But not this time josh was the guy who hooked me up before but I can't seam to get a response this time. As for my post mister Simmons what's wrong with it is my grammar or spelling not up to your standards I have not posted here much but I didn't realize I was in a English 101 class I thought this was casual and I could type out my thoughts without 100 proof readings lol . I can do without your comments or smart mouth and yes guys it costed me 15.50 to ship it then a 25 dollar money order to get it back that I might add was cashed last December so I don't think I'm being over board I just want my knife back :(I'm at the point I don't care if they hadn't touched it i just want it returned :(. Oh btw next time I decide to make a thread I will consult you mr d Simmons so you can fill me in on how to format such pressing matters as knife returns. Geeezzzzz

A few years back, I sent in an AR for nasty side to side play that went beyond a pivot adjustment. It took them about four months to get it back to me. YMMV, i suppose.

Sure did dano it's not in service anymore and it was up until yesterday because I have tried it every day lol.

I emailed them a month or so ago to inquire about returning an ar for servicing. Never heard anything back.

Everyone is always talking up the wonderful Strider guarantee. Doesn't mean anything if they don't make it available.

Don't Feed The Troll. Check out dsimmons title -- he was just banned. :)

I've had problems with Striders before and just fixed them myself in ten minutes.
That's always an option (Assuming you get your knife back).

I saw on josh lee (strider employee) instagram that they recently moved to a new shop so maybe that is why the phone # is no longer working?

Yeah I have the tool now and that's what I will do from now on bending a lock bar and adjusting the pivot usually fixes them good enough they still never get a lock up like my sebenzas though..

I sure hope there move don't go like microtechs a lot of knifes where missing for awhile when they left vero beach if anyone knows how to contact josh that would be my best bet he helped me before and was a great guy.
