Help Date Older Schrade Please

The earliest Schrade catalog I have that lists the 896K is in 1953.
They were made after the Walden era, but yours is a Walden, so it was made between (approx) 1953 & no later than 1973.
I think it would be toward the earlier end of the time frame.
