Thanks for the additional replies. I have yet to replace that outlet, but it's on my to do list for sure. Funny thing, the very next day after I posted my question, the VFD/TW-90 would not trip that GFCI when I turned it off. All day long, no problems at all. I thought maybe I had excorcised a demon in the wiring by posting the thread! But, no the demon remains. When I replace that outlet I'll try to remember to update the thread with results. Thanks again for all the advice.
