Help!: Exskelibur disassembly

I'm trying to figure out what the pivot diameter is and total length . I was on Alpha Knife Supply and was thinking about just buying a new pivot and putting that on there to see if it would fix the problem . I picked up 2 of these knives ( the other is olive wood and the pivot tool doesn't fit ) and both have issues as far as blade play and not being centered . The decade edition is the real bummer though , like I said great knives but really poor quality . Boker has some of the best designs out there from top quality makers but it's a shame most of them have serious issues .

Dedestroyer,

I guess I can help only on the pivot diameter, assuming that it is the same on the Decade edition and the new Ti scale variant. The length has to be different, though.

Any kind of help would be much appreciated . What is the diameter ?

I am going to disassmble my backup exskelibur tomorrow and will let you know the diameter.
It has been delivered to my work place, and I plane to pick it up tomorrow morning.

My measurement of the pivot pin using a micrometer.
Height: 0.265"
Pin diameter: 0.15"

I don't know if this helps because the pin also has a cut on one side to prevent rotation when pivot is tightened.

I received a pivot adjustment tool for my Boker Decade Edition Exskelibur II and successfully centered the blade much better than before.

Jann Mitchell of Boker emailed saying: "You should have received a spanner with your knife. I will send you another. No charge this time."

I emailed him back: "I never received this spanner tool to adjust the pivot of my Boker Decade Edition Exskelibur II. Perhaps it’s because the first batches of this knife did NOT include it. I purchased mine from BladeHQ in January 2015 (not 2016)!"

Anyway, I have a tool now!

Thanks Boker USA.

I received an envelope from Jann of Boker marked, "2 small spanners."

Both spanners are the same size as the spanner I received with my 2015 Boker Decade Exskelibur II.

None of the three identical spanners fits.

For more than a year, Boker ignored email and phone calls seeking help. Now this.

I still have no way to adjust the blade that, out of the box, was visibly uncentered.

Update to previous post:

Jann emailed to say he is sending two LARGE spanner tools.

Seems like they are sending me a few pivot screws, for free!
That is a very generous move.
