Ok what im looking for is a 5 to 7 inch stainless steel fixed blade with a solid handle(not kraton or rubber like material. So no fallkniven or cold steel) with a plan edge under $130
Also preferably a kydex or similar sheath.
Thank you

if your ok with grivory, then I would say BK2. If not, start looking at bark river.

edit: ah. just saw the stainless requirement. bark river it is, then.

When you say straight edge, you don't want a knife with belly? So something like a sheepsfoot? Or do you mean a plain edge, i.e no serrations.

Myerchin Offshore System Fixed Blade Wood Handle Knife. 70 bucks, 440C. blade length is just shy of 4 inches.

I like my Mora triflex bushcraft, a nice solid knife, good length on the blade. Mora does offer some nice stainless options at reasonable prices.

The first maker I think of when someone mentions stainless is Ray Ennis from Entrek. In this case, have a look at the Javalina.

Also Ontario's SK-5 Blackbird. SOG and Kabar both have some models in stainless that you might like.

Ontario Rat-7 in D2. Technically not stainless, but pretty close and has a decent coating on it. Mine has served me well as a light chopper and for various bushcraft duties while hunting. I think chestnut ridge might be the only one who has any of these left or maybe ebay. The kydex sheath is stout, too.

I should have mentioned Entrek. He makes super quality knives. The Javelina is just a bit shy of 5" but is an incredibly versatile knife.

A BM Nimravus meets all of your requirements, but I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for.

This was the first thing that popped into my mind, as well. However, it does fall 1/2" short of his minimum length. The Nimravus has the second worst coating I've ever seen, but is otherwise an excellent knife. Its actually a big knife squeezed down into a compact package. Meaning - you'll use it for things you don't expect a knife it's size to be capable of :-)
