Help finding a sub 3.5” fixed blade for hiking

I believe you could reach out to David Mary Customs I’m sure he has some sub 3.5s and his quality is top notch.

Do you have a frontier valley? How do you like it? How do you like the sharpend spine?
I have one and it’s a great knife. I have med large hands and handles nice. My spine is sharpened and works fine on a ferro rod.
01 tool steel. You would have to be careful in a damp environment. I have a patina on mine.
No pics though as the posting issue from phones still exists!!

Thanks guys, you have all just cost me $40 Aud for a Mora.

Which one did you get?

Mora companion plus a dc4 would get you through most anything

I've seen a couple youtube vids with people using a DC4 to sharpen a hatchet.

If weight is an issue then the DC3 is smaller and weighs less.

OP, if you get a Companion then you have to buy the pink one. It's a rule. ;)

Mora 0/1 is a great choice, but I really like the Good Knife Co "24/7".
I don't know if he has any left, but bikerector bikerector would be the guy to ask.
I love mine. It's like an izula with the thinner blade you always wanted, and a more ergonomic handle.

Just the right size, about a little less than 3 inches, maybe, but the one thing I really like is I can get 4 fingers on the handle, mine is also 01, but it it also available a2, and it has a sharp spine for ferro rod or scraping. Also, it was made by both LT Wright and Battlehorse knives.

I really like the Real Steel Pointman. Slim profile, good all around steel, good blade geometry, and decent price.
