Hi all. Well, im interested in buying a Limes watch, but the only place i have seen to buy them is at Limes' website, at what i assume is full retail. Does anybody know where i can buy these online at discounted prices? Also, anybody care to share their opinion of these watches? Thanks.

Im pretty sure they only sell factory direct, and have no dealer network. I read up on them a good bit a couple of years ago, have a good reputation in the bang for the buck catagory. You might check the classified section at timezone or watchnet, they often appear there.

Actually, there is a US representative for Limes I only know this because I've been lurking at timezone for over 5 years and remember when Limes came on the scene...

The guy's name is Steven Walker and he's all over the place at Timezone.com

He's reputed to be a very nice guy and is trusted by many "old-timers" at Timezone.

Run a search for his name at the public forum and you will find him in short order... good luck!

I'm afraid Steve will tell you the same thing, Limes are never discounted, but he can probably give you other useful information, like what dealers have the watch you want in stock, what's the closest dealer to your location, things like that. Go to www.timezone.com and run a search; you'll find him right away.

I did find an authorized Dealer in Montana that was also on the web and, his prices were "competitive" and less then straight retail. If I get a chance, I'll see if I can turn him up again.

I have a Limes watch on my wrist right now, and while it is harder to obtain than the popular brands your diligence will be well-rewarded. First of all if you must buy online the official website is the only source. Limes has around 10 authorized retailer in the US, and I called every one for a price quote. I actually found my watch for over 25% off retail, and since it was not in stock Limes Fedexed it from Germany to my dealer, who sent it to me.

With so few authorized dealers it should be no problem to call all of them and find the best price. I found the list at the Limes forum, where Steven Walker posts regularly. It does go down every once in a while, though. These watches are fantastic, the best deal in the ~500 to ~1000 price range. They are built with proven ETA movements, excellent materials and construction, and special touches usually found only on high-end brands. Do a search here or on the watch forums and you'll find plenty of more info. Hope this helps!
