OK,

There is this maker in the South who makes knives in the style of Geroge Herron.

He got a write up in Blade magazine in the last year.

He is also a hunting guide.

His picture in Blade has him with a red beard.

And specifically I am looking for his webiste.

But any information is more than I have now.

And I am not talking about Harry George or Bobby Branton or Dan Cannady.

Thanks in advance

Marion,
Knifeslinger was correct - Wayne makes great knives in the Herron style at a super price. He numbers his blades like Herron does and even puts it in the same location on the tang. I recently got a 15-20 year old ivory-handled Herron boot knife and a Hendrix
ivory micarta drop-point hunter and Herron trained him well. The quality & finish on the hunter compared very well with Herron's boot knife and the prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend his knives.

I just wanted to stick my 2 cents worth in here. I too am VERY impressed with Hendrix Knives. I recently purchased a number 2 and 15 in stag from AzCK, and I was so impressed with them (especially after my first hunting trip with the 15) that I have ordered another 2 for a gift, and a 3 in stag for myself! Check out his web page.
