Help finding super thin, small EDC

Another vote for an Alox Victorinox single layer model, such as the Bantam 1 and 2. I would forget it was in my pocket half the time.

kershaw leek. The steel version, frame lock. Very slim, nice AO.

Or you could try and track down a TI ZDP version.

Another vote for the Fällkniven U2.

Even with a 3-inch lanyard (fob) I still have to keep making sure the little tyke hasn't wandered off.

The smallest useful knife I've seen in a while is the AG Russell Ultimate Pen Knife. VG10 steel, titanium handles, 1-1/2" blade, 2" closed, very thin design w/ no clip, 0.2 oz., $20.

Something a bit larger, but still lightweight and thin, the AG Russell Featherlite. Two steel choices, two blade shape choices, with or without neck sheath, lightweight Zytel handle, thin design with no clip, 1.5 oz., 3-1/8" blade, and prices start at $35.

Best Wishes,
-Bob

There were a lot of good choices mentioned, I'de like to add one more:

Queen Canoe

Two blades, 1095 carbon steel (or D2, depends which one you get), it's the slimmest knife I have. Most of the time I forget I have it in my pocket.

A bunch of good answers! I'll bet the poor guy is more confused now than when we started!

How about an AG Russell Featherlite folder. Both thin and lite and does not have a clip. THANK YOU! Kevin

Everyone,

Thanks for all the replies. For some reason I didn't get notification otherwise I'd have responded sooner.

I'm looking at all the suggestions.

Striper 28,

I'm too new to send PM's! Maybe you can send me one?
You don't have PMs enabled, so he will be unable to send you one. (I think you may have to be a paying member of the board to enable receiving PMs, but I'm not sure).

To send him a PM, click on his name in this thread, and in the menu that drops down choose "send a private message to ...", which should take you to a form which should be pretty straightforward. If you prefer to send him an e-mail, just pick that option from the first drop down menu instead.

I second Al Mar's lineup - Falcon, Hawk, you' v got a choise of blade lengh.
Also old style (riveted) Spyderco Endura/Delica. Oh, and Camillus EdC!

I recently picked up a SOG Blink.
3 1/8" long, closed. Blade 2.125", shaving sharp.
A hair over 1/4" thick.
Removable clip, Aus 8 blade, aluminium handle, lockback.
Assisted opening with manual lock (locks blade closed or double locks open.)
I think I paid $30 for it.

Just go to SOGS website and it will give you most of the details. THANK YOU! Kevin
