Help for finding EDC Knife for under $30

At this point I think my best option is the Kershaw Skyline, but if anyone knows of a similar knife for cheaper I would love to know about it. Can't seem to find it anywhere for under the $39 on amazon, even in the exchange section. I found a few sites that were selling it at $30 after shipping, but it seems that they've all been sold out :/ .

Similar in which way? You've gotten some great advice and people have bent over backwards here to try to suggest knives that check off all your boxes.
So now help us. What is it about the Skyline that you like?
Once we know that, we may be able to narrow down a few options to help you further.

As I've said, I am extremely appreciative of everyone's help here, and I will probably be set from here on out. Personally I like the overall look of the knife with the G10 handle, and after watching reviews I've heard that it's extremely smooth with its opening. Also, I like that it's extremely lightweight especially with its size. Finally, as mentioned previously by another member in this thread the Sandvik steel is aparently a huge step up from the 8Cr13MoV many knives including the Thermite have. Thank you everyone for the constant help, I now know what I should be looking for! Every knife recommended today furthered my search in a perfect EDC for myself.

Not that similar to the skyline, much more beefy, but the Ontario Utilitac II is worth a look. One of the best values out there.

You hit the nail with the Ontario Rat I/II. It's been about 3 years since I've had mine. Buttery smooth and the action makes me feel like it's assisted. Truly effortless deployment. I'd also personally recommend the Kershaw Skyline for a few extra bucks.

Would you say the Ontario Rat II felt a little big?

If you like a/o the Kershaw Westin, about as straight forward a design as you can get.
The Kershaw Entropy Or Volt II is another that looks to be right up your alley.
