Help. Framelock

Hey guys, I was wondering what materials are needed to make a framelock. Like thickness ti, steel, and pivot and screw size as well as how to go about it. I've made many fixed blades and pimped my share of knives and I also have all the equipment I just don't know the first thing about how to make a folder for myself. Thanks for any help! :)
 
There are several tutorials about how to build liner and frame locks on the web if you search, including one I did right here in shoptalk. It's in the BBQ WIP collection.
"How do I go about making a framelock" is a pretty vast question to just roll in and ask, it will take significant reading. Terzuola's book is a great resource,, as mentioned by the Count.
 
I recently (in the last month) started a thread called "Share your titanium secrets with me". It became somewhat of a WIP. Many of your questions may be answered in that thread. Bob Terzoula's book for sure!
