Why dont you just ask them if they ship to CA. Or better yet, just order one and see if they process and ship it to you.

I think we've been thru this before. I too live in CA, and most online companies I've bought from do ship to CA on a 'dont ask, dont tell' policy.

I live by that place. They should ship to CA...cause they are located in CA! Well, they said I can walk in and buy whatever I want. Their shipping is too damn expensive, so I rather just go there. I also wanted to buy that "Basic Balisong Manual Poster". Poster is like 2 bucks...and the damn shipping is like 10 bucks! sheesh.

there are more and more Bali suppliers nowadays in my opnion all yo uhave to do is just ask.. 2 years ago it was a big

to get a "niope sorry kid we wont do that" but now adays it's their loss cause there are so many distributors and independent suppliers who can get it to you.

Viva capitalismo!

If you buy that knife from them, you have to pay california tax and a bunch of shipping. I will sell it to you for $25 plus $3 shipping for a total of $28. Thanks, JohnR7 www.BalisongKnife.com

Just go to Knifezilla.com. They have all the same balis and they ship to CA. I know because I have ordered from them before. The prices aren't bad and I had my orders by the end of a week.

Three sectional staffs are great they are one of my favorite weapons. I even like them better than a balisong.

ChungSan, how do you use a three-sectional staff? I don't see how to swing it like a nunchaku.. needs completely different moves, yes? Perhaps it's more like using 2 escrima staffs ?

In Shanghai Noon, the dude held the middle section and swung both sticks around.

I think you can hit more than a nunchaku.

Do you mean more often, or more hard?
Hmm.. I agree that it has a longer reach, and a harder hit, if you hold on to one of the pieces and swing the rest, but if you hold the two outer pieces, I think it would be like holding two escrima sticks, but with a stick in between that just RESTRICTS your possible movements. (But it would be useful for grips and holds).

Maybe you can use it like ONE nunchaku & a stick, and alternate between which handles to hold. Anyway I think it's a more complicated weapon to use in a good way, than the nunchaku.

Anyway, I have to check out Shanghai Noon.

You're lucky Payback, it's been over 2 months since I ordered from Knifezilla and I have yet to see my knife. Not bitter or anything though, oh no!

Three part staffs are very hard to use, but when used correctly are incredible. I used to use them when I took Kung-Fu, and it took a while before I stopped beating myself over the head with it.

I'd think more often, because you have two sticks protruding, instead of one like a nunchaku.

It's like a combination of a pair of sticks, nunchucks, and a long staff all rolled up into one great weapon.

Of course it's not very practical for self defense, but it is alot of fun.

Oh yeah, I remember something about a warrior on horseback being able to "deliver devastating blows from all sides".

Not that many people ride around on horses for the purposes of kicking ass nowadays.

Aahh... of course!! It would be an excellent weapon for horseback riding! Easy to reach people on the ground, and people on other horses. Nunchakus would be pretty bad! 8-)
