Help, I think I picked the wrong Spyderco

Congrats on the Delica, Diamond Cut II. I know you will be pleased. Sal, first of all I think your willingness to correspond with us forumites speaks volumes about Spyderco's commitment to and concern for it's consumers. Secondly, I can't agree more concerning your statement re: Spyderco's superior ergonomics and performance. I've owned Spydies since 1991 and those two qualities were what first attracted me to them and what will keep me a devotee until I leave this life.

Are the new Delicas flat ground or hollow ground? I read somewhere on their website that it was flat ground, I think. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks in advance for any input,
Mak

The "product improved" Delica's are in VG-10 with flat ground blades, in PE.SE & CE ( or P&S to SOME!) "flat
grind" seems to be the order of the day with the newer Spydies ( this makes one wonder WHY they did away with the G-10 Police, later offered in "flat ground"!?!) Go figure, gang!;)

AET ;)

for most cutting PE does fine
when you hit something that's particularly resilient or tough you'll wish you'd gotten the the serrations
