Now that's a knife!
did the pictures work?
thank you![]()
The knife you inquired about several years ago, will likely not be found on any search engine and definitely won’t be found in some dusty old warehouse for retired props. It was hand made, by a bail bondsman and Weapon smith named Mike England. He was a uniquely humble man with a quick wit. He was a man of adventure and excitement and yet one of the most private individuals I’ve ever met. Sadly, he recently passed away. I grew up not far from his shop and always had an interest in the beautiful knives he always had on display. In my teenage years I spent some time working with him there and came to know a great deal about him and his work. This knife was one of three pieces he had made, that appeared on the big screen and all three, he was able to reclaim before his passing. I doubt you’ll find his name in any of the credits though. Just wasn’t his style. If memory serves though, I may still have a picture of him and the knife when they were reunited. Would just have to dig around and see.hi
I was wondering if anyone could help me ID a knife please?
I realise it may be a custom made knife for the movie, like the original Crocodile Dundee knife, but thought I would give it a shot,
any help is appreciated, thank you
