Help ID maker and model

A good friend sent me these photos, she wants to purchase another but it was a gift and she doesn't know the maker or model.

The acid etched one is a Kikuo Matsuda "Kiku" KM400 Backup mini.
It is an older model before he started putting the steel type on the blade
and likely D2 rather than the current OU31.
