Howdy,
Can anyone help me ID this item?
I purchased it a few years ago from the
estate of a Viet Nam era SEAL.
There are no maker's or mfg's marks on this
knife.
The blade is about 4.5 ins. long
and appears to be made of some nonferrous
material (copper?, bronze?). The marlin spike
is made of the same material but is not a true marlin spike, rather it is a small flat
edge screw driver and also has a small hole
through the spike. The short wire-stripper/
screw blade is steel.
There is a
centimeter scale etched on one side of the big blade and an inch scale on the other.
I take the Knife to be some sort of
demolition tool.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
