Can you spydie experts help a brother out. I bought this for my dad about 10+/- years ago I think. any way I have a wild bug up my arse to know what model he has and have been looking at photos online trying to figure it out.

Thanks man. I used some googfu looks like some models are popular with collectors. how rare is the stainless steel with serrated blade. I think the VG-10 models looks to be the hot items. Not that it matters its been my Dads EDC since I got him it and well continue to be so, just curios what he has.

There's quite a bit of collector interest in the C52 Calypso Jr. However, collectors consider the stainless version less desirable than either the micarta or FRN versions, and consider serrated less desirable than plain edge. They also tend to place a high degree of importance on the knife being in "like new" condition.

Some sellers on ebay think that knife is "almost mint". Like I said the value does not really matter I was just curios. It well be worth far more in sentimental value then anyone could ever pay me...
