Hello all,

Hoping for some help identifying this axe bit. I was cleaning my shop and ran across this old piece I picked up a few years ago. I sanded it a bit so I could see the markings. It has a cold stamp with the letter "H" on the cheek, and underneath it the number 4, so a 4 lb. bit? Who might have made it?

It has the profile of a Michigan axe (and I am in Michigan) but it may be from wear or damage, I have no idea what happened to it before it came to me.

It also has a small stamp the looks like a keyhole on the underside, photos attached. Appreciate any insight you might have, thanks in advance.
