Hi i was hoping you could help me out here,
there is a danish knifemaking supply-site where they sell carbon steel,
it doesn't say anything but carbon steel, and how it should be treated and
such, BUT it also shows the contents of the steel, and i was hoping if any of
you (AWESOME:D) knifemakers and/or steel experts
out there could identify it for me?
here are the contents:

0,9% Carbon,0,25% Si, 2% Mn, 0,35% Cr, 0,13%V

i just wanna know what im working with!;)
Thanks

Would make a good blade .The company should be able to supply you with HT directions. Otherwise it should be close to 1095.

1095? With chromium,I'll do some research and get back with you but I would not treat this like a simple carbon steel. Just to clarify the chromium was .35, 3.5, 35.00
