I recently purchased an estate of a WWII Army Veteran and aspiring knife maker. It appears that he was purchasing antique / vintage knives and repurposing the blades making semi custom blades by regrinding them ad adding custom handles from elk horn and other materials. Two of the knives in his items that had not yet been repurposed appear to be antique / vintage wood knives with 1/2 tang no rivet handles. Wood handles are stamped OPS and one of the knives has 1958 stamped on the Bolster. I tried doing google searches but I am not coming up with anything. These knives appear to be of decent quality for their age. Can anyone help?

Not sure if my image link uploaded correctly, if not here is a new link

Thanks in advance

You should post this in the Bernard Levine Knife Identification forum. You'd probably get more exposure there with people who might have a better idea on these.

Good luck -
