Help identifying two knives

I have two knives that I would like to identify, if possible. These were in a box of my father's WWII items. I don't know that he actually acquired them while in Europe, or even while he was in the service. But, everything else in the box is war related, so I assume they are as well. One appears to be ceremonial as the blade is not sharp. It has no markings at all. The second looks to be crudely hand made and has some odd markings on the blade. I have some photos. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I can't seem to figure out how to attach photos to this post. Usually there is a paperclip to attach and I don't see one.
 
It took me a while to figure out how to upload photos, here is how I do it. It is a multi step process, so be patient.

Create an account on a photo sharing sight. I use Imgur.
Upload photos to Imgur
Once photo is uploaded, click on the image and to the right their will be image links. Just copy the one that says "BBCode (message boards & forums)" then paste it into the body of the message here on BF. It will be text until you hit post, then magically the photo will be on your post

I had problems too until I got the Gold Memebership and now attachments are made from MY Pictures on my computer just fine. I am done with the photo sharing services now for all of my forums. Most people don't realize it is the size of picture file that screws up the downloading. I have posted many pix on here from my computer.

use photo bucket. upload pictures there. then right click and select copy image url. after that go to posting and click the picture icon and paste the url.
