So a family friend got this recently from her grandfathers estate - He would be about 75 years old if still living.

Me being the only 'knife guy' she knows - thought that I might be able to ID it by cell phone photo. I normally can nail this sort of thing but I am not doing well. So I thought I would ask my BF buddies.

What do you think?
Looks like a bone handled Mora -

Any ideas?

That looks to be a Finnish Laaplander (Saami) traditional knife made with reindeer bone. If you Google "Saami knife", you will see lots of variations, with and without reindeer bone for the sheath. Most of the earlier ones were made by the owner for personal carry, so you will see such a high degree of personalization.

Here's an example with full reindeer horn sheath.
