Help, I'm new, looking for a movie dagger

Blade looks to be a mild trifoil in some shots, flat in others. I'd put it at 18" - 20" ish inches overall. Handle looks like you could get 2 ladies's sized hands on it.

Hellize may have the time (sure has the skills) to make exactly what you want. His prices are more than fair, but prepare to spend a bit more than $200.

The blade looks flat because it's a prop.; it's butter knife dull and just needed to be vaguely blade shaped. Otherwise all your actors and grips and prop folks wind up cutting or stabbing themselves.

Movies like that were made decades ago and no one had any idea how today we'd be able to freeze those images and dissect them with screen grabs via a phone that was in everyone's pocket. They just had to look good enough as they flashed across the big screen for a second or two.

If you want a copy of the prop then there are lots of makers here that can make that happen. The accuracy will hinge on what you're willing to pay.

If you want a functioning stiletto in the style of Buttercup's blade then that's possible too but it will get expensive from the word go.

Can you compare this screen grab link with the picture above?

For some reason I couldn't get the picture to show up here like the ones above you posted. But the blade looks flat in comparison? unless its a camera angle or trick of the eye.

Thanks, :)

the blades on Stilettos are pointy and long, thin, but they can be single edged, double edged or without an edge (three or four sides/faces). The V42 or the Fairbarn-Sykes are double edged daggers often classified as Stilettos, as are the famous shoe heels that receive the same name because of their shape...

Also possible that what we have here is a Dirk of some kind
