Help In Repairing An Auto-medici

I am going to attempt a repair on my Stag-Handle Auto Medici, the problem is the button is hanging half way out; my problem first is how to round off the brass Pins in order to remove the stag. Any ideas, help or go-bys

You might want to show some photo's so we can see the problem.

I had to fix one awhile back and had to drill the pin heads off. A Dremel with a tiny stone tip will work also. Make sure you use a pin punch to knock them out. Very delicate work. Make sure you map the parts or take pictures as you go so you know where stuff goes. Good luck.
