Help Joben with his PSK

I have neon green and pink ones because I attract gay survivors. :D Now, that is what TONY was going to say!!!

Anyways, use index cards and sometimes the bright ones for many things. If you want to leave a note in a manner where a dense individual can find it, hot pink or neon green should stand out nicely. :D

You can get a hole puncher and punch holes in a short stack of them and then get the little bendable brass thingamabobs in stationary stores to hold them together like your own little notebook but they hold up a bit better being smashed around in a pack, etc.

The note pad and pencil or space pen is a good idea as part of any med kit. If you do have to monitor someone’s vitals you would need to get a base line and see where they are trending. When professional help arrives the info will be valuable, especially in a situation where one may have an infection/necrotic wound tissue, allergic reactions, poisoning, heart/breathing problems or a host of other issues.

Even just writing down your observations of what happened, whether you have medical training or not, will be helpful. Eyes, skin, state of mind of a person all go towards diagnosis and treatment.

After wearing the Max pouch around for an evening, and using the gear to start A fire I decided the Izula was too low.
Re-sheathing it was hard. So i moved it up a bit.

One step closer.

Added a canteen, and a small pouch.
This has tripled my first aid storage space which is, at least, a step in the right direction. :p

Looks good. A canteen cup to go with the canteen would be good to have for cooking, purifing water, melting snow ect.

Not sure if you already have this, i'd add a pair of tweezers and some change for a pay phone. many lost people end up finding sweet salvation in a pay phone, but not change to use it.

If you're on a budget this probably is a useless suggestion, but REI makes a bangup titanium cookware set that confines into a very small space and weighs next to nothing. That said the various sets range from 50-100 dollars, but if you're aiming for ideal, it doesn't get better than that. Poormans' version is a stew can with a wire hangar handle. Maybe I'll take pictures of my stewcan stove as well...
