Help make list of Hawkblade knives!

Didja notice how OLD this thread was? :D

Instead of resurrecting the dead, start a new thread, and put a link in your first post to the older one for reference.

O, it's not THAT old. Heck, I read that gargantuan edc thread a while ago and that thing is like an ancient online tome.

Besides, Im love hawkbills! I'm interested in getting a MOD Caracara--a very pretty knife indeed, and it looks like the thing will hold up for ages, at least. For $300 it should hold up forever. Anyone have any experience with this knife, or know of any that are of similar looks and quality for cheaper?

um...why arent we including karambits? the two knife styles both mean excellent penetration for both stabbing and slicing because of the descended blade point. are the two all that different that they should be excluded?

Man, I just started this thread because I was interested in collecting hawkblades at one time. (Now I just keep the spydercos.)

This is an old thread and I don't want to play anymore.:jerkit: You guys can turn it into whatever you want now.

Well in that case, the Emerson folding Karambit looks like it kicks ass, but I don't own one (yet). My only blade of this style however, is the Hibben Claw II w/ micarta. I got it at the Renaissance Festival some time ago, and it's an awesome fixed blade. In a dangerous situation, I have no doubt that BOTH ENDS of it could do some serious damage. It has two prongs sticking out of the handle ring, making both sides of this knife a serious weapon. If it wasnt so cumbersome, and it was more legal, and the sheath was better, I might actually carry it more. :jerkit: Still, an excellent big fixed claw.

Don't forget Alan Folts. He makes nice hawks.
Hey Spookyshogun How do I get ahold of Alan Folts? I am Hawkbill fanatic and have about 30 of Spyderco's but I am starting to look into the Custom made ones. IF you have a website or e-mail I would very much appreciate it. Or any of the rest of you that might have it. Thanks a Million. JD Spydo:)
