Help making a folder

I want to make a folder knife don't understand how. any techniques or tips? I can't afford a custom so I want to try to make one.

Expense wise it maybe would be far cheaper by a 100 times to buy one. But there is a good WIP on how to build a liner lock in this forum. Use the search button and it should come up. They are usually considered more difficult to do at first than a straight knife. Frank

Frank is correct, and he would know. If you are interested in making slip joints, there is always Don Robinson's book "Slipjoints My Way." It is like a very detailed wip of a slipjoint in book form.

I'll have to look for that liner lock tutorial, Frank. I've been making slipjoints, or trying to, and I want to try something a bit easier.
