Help me add a good length of cord to my BK7 PSK setup

What type of braid is that? I'm putting together 4 plat braids(I think thats the right name.) for zipper pulls on my packs. I like the look of the one you did, but it looks like more work than the 4 plat.

What kind of ring do you have it on?

A small section up by the ring I think is called a square braid or box braid then the rest I think is called a round braid. It's hard to tell in the pictures but the top part is more of a square shape. It's just a basic braid that kids usually mess around with. This one uses 4 strands and is a very easy method. If you need me to I can find one of the links that I used and post it here or I can probably scan the direction and post a pic here. The ring is just from a packet that I got at Hobby Lobby.

It starts out as the 4 strand braid and then turns into the square braid.

If I'm seeing it right it basically doubles back on the 4 strand and gives you more cord if you want to use it for something. Interesting.
